D. Scott Williams is a drummer and teacher from
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Currently, he can be seen playing with the Jake
Kaligis Band, and with guitarist Scott Bradoka among others.
In July of 2006, Scott toured Germany with Scott
Bradoka as the opening act for Jeff Beck & Buddy Guy. In the summer of 2005,
the same band toured Germany opening for Lee Ritenour. When at home in
Pennsylvania, you can find Scott playing with the popular Jake Kaligis Band,
a high energy jam/rock band playing clubs, outdoor concerts, parties,
corporate events, etc. |

In addition to his busy performing schedule,
Scott is an in demand teacher. He is on the teaching staff at the California
Drum Shop in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It is during this tenure as a drum
teacher (which has been over 15 years) that the his concepts and method of
teaching drumming eventually turned into the inspiration behind his first
two books Drumkit Fundamentals and
The Funky Six.
Scott endorses
Taye Drums and is a member of the
Vic Firth Education team.
Scott has studied privately with Frank Katz, Kim Plainfield (both of
the Drummer's Collective in NYC ) and with Jimmy DeGrasso (Megadeth
).
